Extreme performance and efficiency turbocompound technologies recycle normally wasted heat and exhaust energy back into power, using a compressor-turbine that is directly coupled to the engine through an insulated exhaust receiver.

The high-pressure, ultra-high-temperature exhaust gas from our compound-cycle engine drives our turbine and compressor, and provides power output to drive alternators, shafts or propellers.

Our extreme-performance turbines are capable of 2X the temperature, 4X the pressure and 2-3X the overall efficiency of typical axial or radial flow micro-turbines, small turbos or low-pressure turbocompound systems.

Typically 30-40% of total power output will come from our turbocompound utilizing recycled thermal energy.  Up to 10X higher than low-pressure turbocompound systems.

The net result is that our tech can provide up to 60% brake efficiency power output and up to 1,000 kW/liter in power density, up to several times that of existing small engines and turbines.

A huge advantage of our tech is that it operates very efficiently on engines as small as 10 cc, which is over 1,000 times smaller than current production low-pressure turbocompound engines.
